Maintenance and Equipment Supervisor
TEC is looking for Oil & Gas Well Servicing Maintenance and Equipment Supervisor to join our winning team in Fort Morgan, CO.
The Maintenance / Equipment Supervisor is responsible for the maintenance of all medium and heavy equipment including well servicing rigs, swab rigs, and trucks owned by TEC company-wide. This position will work closely with Divisional Operations Manager(s) and the HSE / HR Director to ensure that all responsibilities meet or exceed customer, and Federal and State Regulations.
The Maintenance / Equipment Supervisor reports to the DJ Basin Operations Manager.
Job Goals to be Achieved
1.Improve the safety performance of TEC Well Service in regards to equipment performance, working conditions, service, and assigned personnel behavior standards.
2.Improve the job performance to the customers of TEC Well Service.
3.Reduce the equipment repair cost for TEC Well Service through scheduled maintenance, vendor selection, inventory control, etc…
4.Keep all records for maintenance including lift and fall registries / critical equipment list updated.
Duties & Responsibilities
1.Development documentation for the detailed maintenance of all equipment including:
a.Safety Critical Lists
b.Well Control Testing Documents
e.Permits & Licensing
2.Schedule and manage activities of all mechanics and technicians, including contract mechanics.
3.Monitor and schedule the maintenance of all heavy and medium duty vehicles and equipment, including GPS units.
4.Train rig crews, Field Supervisors, truck drivers and shop personnel in proper maintenance of equipment.
5.Conduct field inspections as well as inspection of equipment in the TEC yard for proper maintenance.
6.Initiate and review work orders for repairs.
7.Develop schedules for equipment cleaning and monitor company adherence to the established cleaning schedules.
8.Inspect equipment to establish refurbish and repaint schedules.
9.Assist Field Supervisor(s) manage work of rig crews in the yard.
Continuing Education required:
1.Collect and study technical manuals from the manufacturers of tools and equipment used by TEC.
2.Organize classes at TEC on equipment maintenance by manufacturer’s representatives.
3.Attend instruction on maintenance at manufacturer’s facilities.
4.Attend industry seminars on maintenance.
1.High School graduate.
2.Bachelors or Technical College degree preferred in Engineering or Mechanics.
3.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc…).
4.Good verbal and written communication skills.
5.Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR, CDL preferred.

FloorhandA very brief description of a floorhand's primary responsible is working on a workover rig and/or working on the yard. When a floorhand is not needed on a rig his responsibilities are but not limited to working on the yard which consist of general upkeep and cleaning of all yard and shop facilities and offices.
The starting hourly rate for this position is $10 without experience. If an applicant has 6mths or more experience in this position the current hourly rate is very competitive in the industry. All applicants must have a valid Driver License with clear MVR.
DerrickmanThis position primarily responsible for working on a workover rig in a derrick above the ground approximently 50'-105' feet. This position is also considered a lead hand within a rig crew.
When a derrickman is not needed on a rig his responsibilities are but not limited to working on the yard which consist of general upkeep and cleaning of all yard and shop facilities and offices.To apply for this position the applicant must have prior experience and a valid Driver License with clear MVR.
Relief Rig Supervisor (Operator)A relief position fills in for the normally assigned Rig Supervisor/Operator when absent. This position requires the same years of on the job experience, having the knowledge to supervise the crew in the operation of the rig, the work performed on the well and documenting daily activities in an efficient and professional manner as a Rig Supervisor/Operator. This position includes but not limited to having a class B-CDL Drivers License.
Rig Supervisor (Operator)This position requires but not limited to having years of on the job experience, knowledge to supervise the crew in the operation of the rig, the work performed on the well and documenting daily activities in an efficient and professional manner. A class B-CDL Drivers License with clear MVR is required for this position.
High Pressure Pump Truck OperatorTEC Permian Basin Division is looking for an experienced High Pressure Pump Truck Operator.
A High Pressure Pump Truck Operator has a wealth of knowledge dealing with high pressure pumping operations. Knowledge is not limited to operations but would also include mechanical.
Addition qualifications would include but are not limited to having a valid class A-Commercial Driver's License with Tanker Endorsement, acceptable MVR, cellular phone, and dependable transportation to work.
