Ronald Shore — CEO. Ron began working in oil field in 1970 as Vice President of Wilshore Production Company in Kilgore, Texas. In 1972, Ron founded Shore Production Company and became an independent oil and gas producer. He founded TEC in 1978 when he rebuilt the Company’s first rig himself. While TEC began by primarily serving Wilshore and Shore Production, under Ron’s leadership, TEC grew steadily to become the premium well service company in the Ark-La-Tex region. Before entering the oil business, Ron worked in various manufacturing engineering positions at Texas Instruments, Inc. in Dallas, Texas. He holds a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. Ron is also past President of the Association of Energy Service Contractors.
Stephen Shore — President and COO. Stephen’s primary responsibilities are Operations Management, Process Improvements, and Marketing. Stephen has sixteen years of experience in the oil and gas business starting as a floor hand on service and drilling rigs in the early 1980s and as a pumper for Wilshore Production and Shore Production. From 1988 to 1996, Stephen worked at Stemco, Inc. in Marketing, Manufacturing, and Engineering Management. Stephen rejoined TEC in 1996 as Vice President of Operations. As Vice President, Stephen implemented the Company’s reporting and communication program and the use of laptop computers in the field by the Field Supervisors. This program drastically increased the quality of the Company’s service through better and faster communication to customers of work in progress as well the creation of detailed final reports. Stephen became President and COO in 2003. Stephen holds a B.S. in Economics from Stephen F. Austin State University and a M.B.A. from Penn State University.
Kenneth Shore — CFO and General Counsel. Kenneth has been an advisor to the Company since 1996. He became TEC’s Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel in 2003. His main responsibilities at TEC include overseeing TEC’s financial reporting, corporate finance, and business development. He also advises the company on legal issues related to finance, employment, oil & gas, collections, and health, safety and environmental regulation. Prior to joining TEC, Kenneth was a securities lawyer in the Austin office of Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison, LLP. He also has experience at IBM Corporation in Armonk, New York, and the Dallas office of Ernst & Young, LLP. Kenneth is a licensed attorney and CPA in Texas. He is also a Certified Management Accountant and Certified Internal Auditor. Kenneth is a graduate of Texas A&M University at College Station, the McCombs Graduate School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, and the Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist University.
Tommy Edwards — Equipment and Facilities Manager. Tommy is responsible for all maintenance and repairs to TEC’s equipment, purchasing, as well as the management of the yard facility and trucking services. Prior to joining TEC, Tommy spent eleven years at Johnson & Lawrence, Inc. in Kilgore, Texas where he supervised service for Wilson drilling, workover, and swab rigs.
Bill Beadles — Account Manager. Bill is a sixteen-year TEC employee. Bill started out as a floor hand and worked his way up to Rig Operator and Field Supervisor. Bill is one of the most knowledgeable sales professionals in the Ark-La-Tex and makes sure that TEC meets the customers’ expectations.
David Etchelecu — HSE / HR Manager. His responsibilities include the recruitment, employment accountability, and training practices for all personnel. In addition, David manages TEC’s safety program and makes sure the company in compliant with all Federal, State, and customer policies and regulations. In 2004, David Etchelecu joined TEC with eight years’ experience in the Occupation Safety Health field. The last four years were spent at Key Energy Services, Inc. At Key, David was a Regional Safety Representative in the Ark-La-Tex region overseeing five locations and 200+ personnel. In 2007, he has achieved a 31% reduction of TEC’s Experience Modifier Rate (EMR) while the organization experienced a 67% personnel growth rate. At which time the Association of Energy Service Companies (AESC) awarded him “2007 Safety Man of The Year”. He was nominated by BP America and Chevron Mid-continent Business Unit for this award. David holds an A.A.S. in Occupational Safety and Health Technology from Kilgore College and a B.B.A. from LeTourneau University.
